RutaAPI uses prepaid credits. Each API request deducts credits based on the selected model, input tokens, output tokens, and applicable model rates. There is no subscription required. View public model pricing examples at /models, or sign in to see all live rates in the dashboard.
You can view public model pricing examples before signing up. After signing in, the developer dashboard shows the latest available rates for all enabled models.

Sign up at app.rutaapi.com to get your API key and access the developer dashboard.
Purchase a credit pack from $10 (Starter), $20 (Pro), or $100 (Business). Credits are added to your account immediately after payment.
Use your API key with the OpenAI-compatible endpoint at api.rutaapi.com. Your credits are deducted per request.
Monitor your token usage, request counts, and remaining balance from the developer dashboard.
Multiply the model's per-token rate by the number of input and output tokens in your request. RutaAPI deducts credits based on the actual tokens used. The dashboard shows per-call cost in real time.
For a quick estimate: input tokens × input rate + output tokens × output rate = total credits deducted.
Credits are added immediately after payment. You can top up at any amount:
Credits never expire. Top up whenever you need more.
Credits do not expire. Once purchased, they remain in your account and are deducted per API request. There is no monthly consumption requirement.
Each request deducts credits based on the model used, input token count, and output token count at per-model rates. You can view exact rates for each model in the dashboard after signing in.
Unused credits may be eligible for a refund within 7 days of purchase. Please review our Refund Policy and contact support@rutaapi.com with your account details and order ID.
API requests require sufficient balance. When credits are exhausted, requests will return an insufficient-balance error. Simply add another credit pack from the billing section to resume.
